Currently the Menard County Health Department is offering
the Heart Smart for Teens program in conjunction with the
Office of Women's Health, Illinois Department of Public
Health. This program was offered at PORTA junior-high school
2005-2006 school year. The 2006-2007 school year will see
the addition of Athens 6th grade to this program.
