H1N1 Walk-in Clinic for High-Priority Risk Groups
Wednesday December 16, 2009 from 10 am - 8 pm
At the Menard County Health Department
The Menard County Health Department will be conducting a H1N1 Walk-in Clinic on Wednesday December 16, 2009 from 10 am - 8 pm. The vaccine will be offered to all Menard County residents who fall into the high–risk priority groups and will be administered free of charge.
It is our intention to make sure the priority groups are served first. People who are not part of the priority group do not need to receive the H1N1 vaccine at this time. Everyone who wants to receive the H1N1 vaccine will have the opportunity to do so as the vaccine becomes more readily available.
The Menard County Health Department will be this vaccine to the following priority groups:
Health Care Workers
First Responders
Pregnant Women
Household contacts/daycare providers of infants six (6) month and younger
Six (6) months to 64 years of age with chronic medical condition such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease, etc.
Six (6) months to 24 years of age
If you presently have a cold or fever you cannot receive the vaccine at this time. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, please do not attend this clinic and stay home if you are sick.
