The Environmental Health Division of the Menard County Health Department strives to protect the public and the environment by upholding the guidelines set by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Menard County Board of Health.

Under these guidelines, we are responsible for issuing permits, performing inspections, investigating complaints, and answering questions for the various programs of the MCHD. Each program is monitored to ensure compliance with the mandated Rules and Regulations approved by the State of Illinois.
